Onda Energy ("Onda", "we") follows British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act. This page explains what we collect through ondaenergy.ca, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

  • Contact details you enter: name, role, work email and phone.
  • Site details: business name, city, facility type, rate class and your answers about goals and timing.
  • The interval data file you upload (for example a MyHydro or Green Button export). It shows when and how much electricity your site uses.
  • Basic, cookie-free website analytics such as page views.

How we use it

To prepare your feasibility study, to follow up about it, and, only if you opt in, to send occasional updates on BC incentives and storage projects. We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Where it goes

Your file is processed by our study engine on Google Cloud in Montreal and is not kept by the engine once the study is returned. Your contact details and study results are stored in our Google Workspace account and used by Onda only. We use Cloudflare to serve the website.

How long we keep it

We keep study records for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them, unless you become a customer.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or unsubscribe, at any time by emailing hello@ondaenergy.ca. We never ask for your MyHydro password.
